The Fat Rabbit Series:
2026
In the heart of the M-30 a fat rabbit grazes in the rain. Abstract washes, arranged in a poetical structure, follow the soaked grass, the gardens planted between roaring lanes, the wild rabbits that claimed this narrow strip as territory. They watch the cars as if they were aliens crossing their world. Nature packed into the busiest highway, an absurd island of life.
The pigments, transparent and vibrant, contrast with the coarse grain of the paper. Fluid color sinks into the rough tooth, bonding in a game of light and texture: washes pool in the hollows, granulate on the ridges, catching and scattering illumination like rain on wet earth. This union of luminous pigment and textured surface evokes the rabbit’s quiet meal amid the rush, each sheet a verse of liquid light and tactile silence.
